Android security is particularly strict when it comes to rooting, for sometimes now I have been looking for a to root the tecno camon cx but to no avail but hopefully, all thanks to Hovatek , you won't believe I actually got this device rooted with their influence after going through their tutorial ,they were able to offer the second best way or method in rooting the Tecno Camon CX, which is actually running on Nougat, which is Android 7, and to be sincere this has obviously shown that nothing is impossible for tweakers to do do , regardless of security or locks that maybe used.

How does Rooting Tecno Camon CX runing Android 7 Nougat works?
Well for it to work sucesfully for you, you must follow the tutorial step by step, first Download either Tecno Camon CX TWRP or Philz I advice you to download any of the two custom recovery in order to recover back your files after rooting,
Again setup the ADB and Fastboot on your computer , incase you don't know how to go about that, you can use this tutorial Here which was provided by Hovatek
Then Extract and copy the TWRP / Philz recovery.img, which you earlier download to the same folder as fastboot.exe and adb.exe.
Then open the bootloader Tecno Camon CX here.
Then download SuperSU 2.76.zip to your phone
What to do next!?
After completing all of the above requirements, you can now copy the SuperSU.zip that you have previously download to both the phone and SD card storage.
Then Connect your phone to a computer using the USB cable and turn it on to the Fastboot (as instructed in the Bootloader lockout, do not forget to re-enable OEM lock and USB debugging).
When the phone enters the Fastboot, download the TWRP / Philz recovery to the phone by typing the command below and pressing Enter
After that Your phone will automatically launch the TWRP / Philz recovery mode (depending on where you picked it up) and make a full backup by selecting Backup and continue with the help.
If The TWRP is asked to swipe to change the system partition, tap KEEP READ ONLY.
If TWRP / Philz provides a root phone, select NO
After TWRP / Philz Recovery, tap Install.
Locate and select the SuperSU.zip file on the SD card and swipe to confirm SuperSU.zip flashing. Wait until blinking is complete ...
Normally start your phone afterwards and use the Root checker to confirm the root directory.
