Some phone manufacturer in the United State are not are very good in pre-loading their mobile phones when manufacturing them.

For a some times ago , I must say that Android phones had no way to get rid of the pre-installed apps which are being installed by the manufacturers during the manufacturing, remember at the begining of these article I told you they are  called bloatware so you can refers to them as bloatware instead of pre-installed application,  they are always craps, sometimes many of them are of no use and like serioussly if you are a tecno phone user you will understand what I'm trying to say. Sometimes they ll just eat up your memory and the worst part is that you can't simply uninstalled them the way you ll simply uninstalled downloaded applications because they actually came with the phone and they are also built in apps but Thankfully technology has made everything very easy , you can now remove any apps you wish to remove and this will help to free up your phone memory ,you can now uninstall both built in and the downloaded ones as usual app.Uninstall vs Disable

But Before we get started, I D like you to understand something here, there are two major ways / methods which you can surely use to remove an Android app from phone memory . Now let's look at the differece between uninstalled and Disable  Most of the time we make use of the   “uninstalled” method which can remove a downloaded apps from your device completely . Most of the Apps that have been downloaded from the Google Play Store can be be removed easily by using the uninstalled method. However, the bloatware or the pre-installed apps that comes pre-loaded on your device will most likely need the second method which is to disable since they can't be uninstalled expt you root your device.

The pre-installed apps are usually need to be “disabled you can't uninstall them.”  now talking about A disabled app means that it is still technically installed on your device, but can’t run or perform any function and again it won’t show up in ur app drawer instead , it will be hidden since its disabled. Disabling a pre-installed app doesn’t require root access as uninstalling would, it doesn't require any fancy hacking eithe because It’s just a feature built into the Android devices to help you combat the bloatware. So let’s use it to disable pre-installed apps if you don't have root access in order to uninstall.

How to Disable Android Applications

The easiest way to remove bloatware or pre-installed apps from your device is to go where all of your apps are listed. To locate where all your apps are listed follow the steps bellow.

Open Settings > Application management
And then Select the app you want to remove
You’ll see two buttons: which are, Force stop and Disable (or Uninstall)
Tap Disable (or Uninstall)
And then Select YES
That’s it! It’s always a good idea to Force stop your app and then Clear the Data while you’re on the app info page instead of uninstall. To re-enable an app, simply visit the app management page again and tap Enable.

Sometimes some device like the Samsung and LG phones will allow you to Disable or uninstall an appplication directly from the app drawer, they actually have this feature built-in them to the default  launcher.

If you are a Samsung or LG phone user follow the bellow steps instead of going through the first one
First Open the app drawer to see all of your installed apps
Look at the top right corner and Tap the three-dot menu icon there,
Then Select Edit
Tap the minus icon on any app you’d like to Disable or Uninstall
Tap DONE
These methods given above will work for most bloatware apps, but sometimes you may come across some apps that can’t even be disabled, once you see something like that, It’s usually not a good idea to remove those ones However, there is always a way to do it if your device is rooted.

Now the next method is How to Freeze Apps

In this method particularly , you must need to root your Android devices before you can have access to it,  almost 99% of bloatware apps can be removed without going through the methods I gave above  . If you’re dead set on clearing everything out, “freezing” is the safest way to do it. To Freeze an app is almost the same thing as disabling it but the difference is you don't need to go through the first method and again in this method we ll be using a third party app to perform this action ,when you freeze an app It will still be on your device memory , but it won’t be able to do anything.

In this method we ll need third party app as I mentioned earlier, which is the Titanium Backup ,this is still one of the best app for freezing pre-install apps but I ll advice you to get the pro version which is just $6  to get the job done easily. If you can't afford the pro version kindly use the comment section bellow to contact me and I ll send it to your email for free of charge

NOTE: Freezing or disabling some important apps can make your phone very unstable or preck so be careful about what you do, I am not responsible for any negative result you might esperince as this article is for educational purposes only, if you don't know what you are doing then don't proceed .

To do this, first Open the Titanium Backup (grant root access if you haven’t) after installation
Then Go to the Backup/Restore tab
Find the app you want to freeze
Tap the FREEZE! button
Note: You will see a UNINSTALL also ! button, but I highly recommend against using it. Freezing is the safest method.
If successful, you’ll see a message pop up
Like before, to unfreeze an app simply follow the same steps. This time you’ll tap the DEFROST button.
