Restoring factory settings on PlayStation 4 is not that hard or difficult as some people do think, yesterday I saw my old friend who asked me that quetion and after
Lots of research I'm able to write about it today, kindly follow this steps and you will be able to factory reset your PlayStation 4 easily.

REASONS WHY YOU MAY WANT TO FACTORY RESET YOUR PLAYSTATION 4?

Sometimes lots of things may make you to factory reset, You may have a situation where you decide to start up afresh or probably , you may want to upgrade to PlayStation 4 Pro or if you are trying to fix it. You may also maybe want to test the latest PlayStation software update. Some of the above mentioned cases maybe some primary reasons why one may want to factory reset, and to do any of the above mentioned cases why you may want to factory reset, you must reset the factory settings to an immediate solution.





Before that, Factory resting of any device can wipes the console hard disk and may even remove the system software. There are always two major steps to take while making the factory reset and these steps are ,is either you go through a safe space step or via PS4 dashboard, the former is likely to be considered especially when the console has a boot problems.

Before you proceed to reset your device to factory settings, make sure you back up your files in the cloud or anywhere else safe , so as not to lose some of your important files when the restore is done.

How Do I Restore factory settings on PlayStation 4?!

Well in this tutorial I ll be writing on the first method I earlier mentioned and that's restoring it right from the dashboard

To do this, First off all , your PS4 account have to be disabled by signing in to
Settings MENU.  From there Go to the Network / Account Manager and from there, you will see Activate as a primary PS4 option, kindly set it to Disable it order to have access to reseting the device to it's factory settings.

When you are done with disabling the PS4 , Log in to your user account, which differs from your PS4 account. Then go to Settings and then Formatting and in the menu you will find two options where are the first is resets the PS4 to the factory setting but does not remove the hard drive while the other option is to delete and wipe the files and even make the PS4 look like it was just purchased.

Now let's go to the second step which is How to reset your factory settings in PlayStation 4 in  using the Safe Mode method.

If your device esperince SOme error that prevents you from accessing the settings menu, maybe being unable to boot, you can use it
Safe mode method to restore factory settings.

First, turn the PS4 off completely and hold down the power button until you hear two beeps and you know that it is in protected mode on a black background.
Now you select the reset option you need; Reset the default settings or start the PS4 by wiping the hard disk and resetting the factory settings by holding the system software.
