Some times ago I thought to decongest my Hard Disk and you know, to do something like that I have to off course delete some of my files. However when I tried to delete one of my folders that contain unuseful files, to my greatest surprise, I kept on getting an error message which says “You need permission to perform this action. You require permission from S-1-5-21-188****” error ,especially when I tried deleting some heavy folders. Today I'm able to fix this issue rather effortlessly now I can delete every of my folders without much stress and wish to share what I did with you just incase you find yourself in the same situation, now let's begin.
First find and locate one of the folder that the error appears then Right-click the folder you wish to delete and then select Properties
In the dialog box menu Click the Security tab
From the security tab, Click on Advanced
And then Click Change (at the top side)
Then Click Advanced again and then Click on Find Now
The second step is to Select the user account you’re currently logged into from the list (ensure its has Administrative privileges) and click OK
Then Tick on both Replace owner on subcontainers and objects (at the top) and Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object (at the bottom) and then click OK
Wait while permission switching takes effect. Click OK if prompted to confirm the action and then
Click OK again to close the File properties window that's all I did to resolve this issue
To confirm that, you may now go back to the folder you wish to delete and retry again to see the action
