Tottenham is currently looking weather to sign this talented player this summer , while Mauricio Pochettino also hopes to raid their former club for the Portuguese international player Cedric Soares.
The 25-year-old talented player has played a key role for Southampton since coming to Sporting Lisbon two seasons ago.
However Pochettino is also looking to sign the talented player Soares to replace Kyle Walker.
Kyle Walker in other hand, is a target for the giants of Premier League Manchester City. The England international player is no longer on good terms with Pochettino and he was scored for key matches towards the end of last season.
If Walker ends up, Spurs will have to sign an established right back. Soares has proved his quality in the Premier League and internationally (won the Euros last summer). The former Lisbon defenseman is undoubtedly one of the best defenders of the Premier League at the moment.
The report according to source, adds that Cedric Soares is also a target for Juventus and Barcelona.
Southampton is eager to rush on the player and will offer him a new and improved deal. Soares signed a four-year extension last summer, but the Saints are ready to reward him with a better contract because of his performance.
The players of Ryan Bertrand and Virgil van Dijk were linked with a departure of the club this summer. The Saints can not afford to lose all their key defenders in a single window if they want to stay in the Premier League beyond next season.
It seems that Spurs will have to find a ridiculous offer if they want to land the Portuguese international this summer.
